We are looking for x6 Senior Backend Engineers for 12 month contracts who can be based remotely within +4/-4 hours of UK time zone.
Minimum Requirements:
 
  • 5+ years of strong experience building and maintaining the backend of software products using Ruby, Rails and PostgreSQL.
 
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience scaling monolithic applications and working in microservice architectures.
 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
 
  • A product mindset. You’re able to understand business requirements and translate them into small pieces that can be delivered and validated incrementally.
 
  • Must be a self-starter with high initiative, and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
 

Ideal candidates will:
 
  • Have experience with other languages and frameworks, especially experience of building for scale.
 
  • Have full-stack experience - you’d have the opportunity to exercise those skills at Indeed Flex!
 
  • Have experience with A/B testing and data-driven methods
